Robert J. Emery (Bob) writes novels under the pen name R. J. Eastwood. Bob’s long career as a writer, producer and director of motion pictures and television spans several decades, earning him over seventy-five industry awards. He has authored four non-fiction books based on his long running Starz/Encore television series The Directors. His first novel, In the Realm of Eden, was published in 2010 and was chosen as one of the five top finalists by Next Generation Indie Books Awards. His second, The Autopsy of Planet Earth, was published in the Fall of 2017 and won the Author’s Circle Award Novel of Excellence for Fiction. His third novel, Midnight Black -The Purge, was published in December 2018.
